Attorney Libby Banks practices solely in the area of Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Administration. She enjoys the opportunity to work with individuals and families to create the right plan – whether it starts with a Revocable Living Trust or a Will.
Clients of the Law Office of Libby Banks range in age from 18 to 98. Some have children, and some consider their pets their children. Their assets range from a home and a bank account to a business and many rental properties. Libby is grateful for the opportunity to work with each and every one of her clients, no matter their situation.
Clients often tell Libby how much they appreciate the way she explains legal concepts so they are clear and understandable. Libby gives clients the tools and knowledge they need for their estate plan to work for them and for their families. Peace of mind and peace for your family are the end goals.
Libby is assisted by Andy Banks, her husband of 28 years. Andy acts as an administrative assistant and marketing director. If you attend one of Libby’s seminars, you will meet Andy, who assists with the set up for the seminars and assures everything runs smoothly.
Libby and Andy have three children. Will is a leasing agent in Tempe, John is pursuing a teaching career here in Phoenix, Emma is a student at Northern Arizona University in the business college and we have three lovely rescue dogs – Shadow, Princess, and Willow to keep us company
We offer a complimentary first estate planning appointment. The only investment we ask of you is for you to fill out our estate planning worksheet, which we send out after you make the appointment.
We value your time. We know how busy life can be when you are chauffeuring children, working a job, running a business, volunteering, and/or just catching up! We make the most of each appointment. Frequently, it will take just two meetings to accomplish everything we need to do to put your plan in place. On the other hand, if we need to meet more often, we are happy to do so.
At your first meeting with Libby, you will discuss your unique situation and she will advise you on the estate plan that is best for you. At the end of your first meeting, Libby should be able to tell you the fixed fee for putting your estate plan together. You’ll know exactly what it is going to cost to get that peace of mind.
Libby begins the estate plan as soon as you retain her. Once you have received and reviewed the plan and approved the necessary documents, you will meet to sign the documents. We will also prepare and record deeds to retitle your real property into your Trust or record deeds for the avoidance of probate if you have only signed a Will.
At the signing, you may meet Andy Banks, Libby’s administrative assistant (and husband) who will assist Libby in conducting the signing, making copies of your documents and preparing your Estate Planning Portfolio for you to take with you.
Our fixed fee includes peace of mind calls and appointments. If you have questions about the plan, retitling assets or other issues, we are happy to discuss it with you.
We look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your estate planning goals.
